Day 1: Pesto, Gnocchi & Limoncino Masterclass (13:00 PM)

Begin your journey immersed in the heart of Ligurian cuisine at our scenic hillside cooking school.

You’ll learn the traditional art of making authentic pesto using fresh basil, pine nuts, and extra virgin olive oil, alongside hand-crafted gnocchi made from locally grown organic potatoes. Guided by our expert chefs, you’ll master techniques passed down through generations.

Your experience continues with the creation of Limoncino using fresh organic local lemons. As your batch begins its slow infusion, you’ll enjoy a perfectly aged Limoncino and prepare a refreshing Lemon Spritz—an iconic coastal aperitivo.

After cooking, relax on our stunning sea-view terrace and enjoy the meal you’ve created: pillowy gnocchi with vibrant pesto, followed by a traditional Ligurian dessert. Complimentary drinks are included throughout, and each guest receives a Cinque Terre Cooking School apron and bag as a keepsake. Transportation from Monterosso to the venue is also included.

Day 2: Wine School Experience (12:30 PM)

The following day, continue your journey at our Wine School, nestled above the Ligurian Sea in Monterosso and hosted by one of the town’s oldest families.

You’ll be introduced to the region’s unique terroir and centuries-old winemaking traditions before enjoying a curated tasting flight. This includes local Cinque Terre white wines, a regional red, and the renowned sweet Sciacchetrà, all paired with freshly prepared Ligurian specialities such as focaccia, anchovies, fried cod fritters, and seasonal dishes made with locally sourced ingredients.

With expert food-pairing guidance and a relaxed, sociable atmosphere, this experience offers the perfect balance of education and indulgence. The session concludes with time to unwind on the panoramic sea-view terrace or explore the picturesque village of Monterosso.
